Linklogification – 13/10/11

Posted in Combat Sports, Food, Linklog, Modern Living, Music, Well, it passes the time by Russ L on 13 October, 2011

Let’s have some links, then (as explained here).

~ From the old linklog, there’s Trampjuice. It’s seemingly been dormant since 2008 (it’s a .tk address~!), but this was once a review site for super-strength lager and cider. It was noble work that they did.

~ Also from the old linklog, Statetris lets you play Tetris with maps. Some of said maps were already out of date in 2007 when I first saw this, but it’s diverting nevertheless.

~ A cool article (although I’d be more comfortable with more references) about nature/nurture in sports, focusing on Jon Jones the MMA fighter.

~ If this was real I would definitely want to play it. (Edit: As has been demonstrated elsewhere, some context may be helpful: clicky here and here).

~ For anyone with a spare 50 minutes, there’s a fun 1981 “Horizon” interview with Richard Feynman on YouTube (via).

~ Lastly, here’s what you must do when a problem comes along (if you don’t get the joke, see here. Or here. But perhaps not here).

The fourth one down will tickle you, Stevie-boy (if you haven’t seen it already).
