Call me Russ L

Combining themes from the last two posts (sort of)…

Local band Misty’s Big Adventure (Theirspace) recently made a video for their song ‘Fashion Parade’. It featured The Teats.

Later, it dawned on The Teats that they were in fact the butt of the joke.

It may have been very mean-spirited and they may have been an extremely easy target, but this is gold nonetheless.

(via P’Ashton again, sort of).

~ Russ L, wondering if it’s wrong of him to have the “lots and lots of money” bit stuck in his head rather than any of the rest of it.

That is frequently the case. Are you talking about anything specific here, though?

I used to work with Pete Ashton – just thought I’d mention that.

Why does that immediately lead me to assume that The Monster was Pete in a frock?

are you vouching for the authenticity of this, Russ?

if I’d just come across it on Myspace or Youtube I’d have assumed it was all a big publicity stunt. Seems a bit unlikely to be true, although I’m not disputing it if you know it is .

Well, I really wanted to believe it was true, but apparently The Teats are in real life a band called The Retro Spankies (it shocks but intrigues me that their real name is even worse than ‘The Teats’) and it was all a big hoax.

The link I found this out from appears to have died. Honest, though.

Hush yourself. We’ve established by now that it’s fake.
