Call me Russ L

*Sigh*

Posted in Well, it passes the time by Russ L on 25 June, 2006

This takes us away from the chronological order in which I usually write about my exploits, but this morning I lost to James ‘Jamrock’ Davidson at Scrabble. Again. He’s now 3-0 up. I think I need to try a new game, perhaps Russian Roulette.

Trying playing the b**tard at Badminton! At last count it was roughly 50-nil.

    Next……squash.

    I say we kneecap him.

That won’t help me with the Scrabble, but it would make me feel better.

I had a lot of fun playing Scrabble at 10:30 on Sunday morning on a sofa in a pub. Good times. Possibly chess next? I don’t mind too much matey. Even just draughts? Lets arrange this beast. As Matt says squash for the first time since I was about 10 on Thursday!! Could be…interesting!

Oh and Russ, we WON the quiz tonight!! HA HA! I’m like a lucky mascot.

    ‘Davison’

This could explain why I keep losing at Scrabble.

What extra explanation per se does this give? I was playing quite well on Sunday methinks. It was good.

I meant the fact that I wrote ‘Davidson’ rather than ‘Davison’ could be seen as a typical display of my ability with words.

You played excellently on Sunday, I cannot deny that.

Testify.
