Sorry about this
I’m getting a bit behind on the chronicling of GDFAF exploits, but I really don’t feel all that well at the minute. I can’t see them appearing this morning, at least. We’ll have to see about this afternoon. Soon though children, soon. Hopefully.
Bed. Chicken soup. Some Billy O in the background. I’m not surprised you don’t feel well. GDFAF is a Everest-ian (no such word? oh well) challenge. The fact that you’ve tackled it two years in a row makes it all the more impressive. Have a good break. You deserve it!
*checking that it’s OK to discuss UFC 77*
Bazz – I think I’d have caught this here stomach cold anyway, although I suppose the relative lack of sleep probably doesn’t help one’s immune system. Thank you for the nice words, anyway.
Thrizz – Fire away. I didn’t watch it but I have seen the results.
I was just going to say that I’m happy the main event went the way it did. Restored a level of sanity to this journey we call ‘MMA’, you know? I love Anderson Silva. And I hate Tim Sylvia. I hate the fact that he was so effective against Vera and would be an absolute headache for Nogueira. I hate the fact that he’s going to be champion again. I’m even starting to hate Couture for leaving us in the lurch like that.
And a main event of Rashad vs. Bisping next show? Man…
Ar. I’m not sure whether it’s the players or the game that I’m hating just lately, either.
But hurrah for Ando.
Still, Newcastle in January. Somebody on the Cagewarriors board said that (they know somebody who occasionally speaks to somebody who sometimes walks past the house of somebody who said that) young Jefferey Monson reckons he’ll be fighting Arlovski there and then.
That could be good. It could also be sickeningly bad, of course, but it could be good.
